Florida State avenged an ugly loss to Clemson with an 80-72 victory on Sunday in Tallahassee. The Seminoles shot 57.9% on 19 three point attempts and shot 22 free throws to 8 for Clemson.
Andre Young and K.J. McDaniels each scored 16 for the Tigers and Devin Booker was the only other Tiger in double figures with 10. Booker led the Tigers with 10 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Tiger fans saw a glimpse of the future with McDaniels’ 16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 blocks and an assist in 22 minutes of play and Devin Coleman’s 9 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists in 21 minutes.
